About Me

My name is Azieb Zerai, I’m a London-based author, and mental health advocate. I’m originally from the African continent, of Eritrean heritage.

I have a deep passion for learning about psychology, recovery, and mental wellbeing.

I continue to be inspired by brave recovery stories — they truly are chicken soup for the soul.

I’m also a keen community volunteer and love exploring different cultures and discovering new cuisines, as I’m a bit of a foodie!

My memoir Finding My Way Out will be available soon on Amazon.

In this memoir, I share my personal journey of recovering from recurring episodes of psychosis and surviving multiple hospitalisations.

I wrote my story because I wanted to help someone else along their mental health journey.

Today, I live a full and purposeful life. Recovery is possible, and I want you to know that.

If you feel alone or unseen, this may be the book you need.

With love,

Azieb
